Commissioned Work

From 2009 to the present, I have been casting handbags in lead crystal for NYC

sculptor, Randy Polumbo.  The work is his; I’m just the kiln lady. The “inserts” are fabricated by Deborah Czeresko.

Below is another piece I cast and assembled for NJ sculptor, Nancy Cohen, titled “Wheel Chair.”

The sculpture is life-size.

Winter 2011-2012 Update

In May 2009, Anna took a hiatus from almost 20 years of college-level teaching to devote time to her studio work and other freelance pursuits. Currently, she is developing new work including internally illuminated castings and assembled glass rugs for upcoming exhibits, one-of-a-kind goblets for the marketplace and collaborative works with paperweight artist Gordon Smith.

Anna continues to lecture and conduct workshops in the US and abroad, to execute private and corporate commissions and to offer private instruction at her studio in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Presently, Anna’s sculptural work is represented by the Bender Gallery in Asheville, NC.  Her decorative objects can be found at Leo Kaplan, Ltd. in New York City, Kittrell/Riffkind Art Glass in Dallas, Collector’s Corner of the Toledo Art Museum, the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, and the GlassMarket of the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY.
